TỌA ĐÀM NGÔN NGỮ: “PHÁ ĐẢO PHƯƠNG PHÁP GHI CHÚ CORNELL”

✨ Ghi chú✨ Nghe có vẻ dễ dàng, nhưng đó là một kỹ năng phức tạp  khi vừa phải tiếp nhận và xử lý thông tin một cách liên tục. Vì vậy, người học có xu hướng ghi chép nguyên văn (ghi chú từng từ); mất rất nhiều thời gian và cản trở khả năng hiểu và ghi nhớ tài liệu của bạn.

Để giúp UEHers chinh phục kỹ năng ghi chú, Công viên tiếng Anh và Khoa Ngoại ngữ cùng nhau tổ chức buổi workshop “PHÁ ĐẢO PHƯƠNG PHÁP GHI CHÚ CORNELL”.

Được phát triển bởi một giáo sư tại Đại học Cornell, Hệ thống ghi chú Cornell giúp sinh viên ghi chú tốt hơn và ghi nhớ nhiều hơn để trở thành người học tích cực và hiệu quả hơn. Tham gia buổi workshop, các bạn sẽ được hướng dẫn cách thực hiện kỹ thuật này và:

✔️ Tạo cho một mẫu ghi chép của riêng mình!

✔️ Thực hiện đúng phương pháp Cornell

✔️Mẹo học hiệu quả để ghi chú và ghi nhớ nội dung (Đặc biệt là cho các bài kiểm tra)

THÔNG TIN DIỄN GIẢ

Thầy Luân Nguyễn có bằng Tiến sĩ về Giáo dục của Đại học Newcastle. Với gần 12 năm kinh nghiệm giáo dục TESOL và giảng dạy Anh ngữ trong lĩnh vực giáo dục đại học, thế mạnh của thầy là giảng dạy và nghiên cứu về khả năng lãnh đạo và quản lý cũng như kỹ năng lập kế hoạch và giao tiếp mạnh mẽ. Các đề tài nghiên cứu của Thầy bao gồm giáo dục giáo viên, phát triển nghề nghiệp, CALL và công nghệ giáo dục.

✨Take notes✨It sounds easy enough, but it is a complicated skill – especially when you’re listening in one language and writing in another. Therefore, learners tend to take verbatim notes (word-for-word notes); it takes a lot of time and seriously hinders your ability to understand and recall your material.

To help UEHers conquer notetaking skills, the English Zone and the Schools of Foreign Languages ​​are organizing a workshop on “GO CRACK THE CORNELL METHOD OF NOTE TAKING”.

This workshop will focus on improving your understanding of what notetaking is. Developed by a professor at Cornell University, Cornell Notetaking System helps students take better notes and memorize more to become active and more efficient learners.

You will be shown how to implement this technique and:

– Creating your own template

– Implementing the Cornell method properly

– Tips on effective studying to remember content (for tests)

About the presenter

Dr. Luan Nguyen holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Newcastle. He is a lecturer and researcher with nearly 12 years of TESOL and English language teacher education experience in the higher education sector. He has developed teaching and research competencies, leadership and management capabilities and strong communication and planning skills. He is a current academic in the School of Education at the University of Newcastle and New South Wales, Sydney. His research interests include teacher education, professional development, CALL, and education technologies.
