In the spirit of the 2025 New Year, UEH English Zone has created unforgettable memories during early-year gatherings, bringing from familiar to new friends together. With enriching activities, UEH English Zone has built an ideal environment to help students hone their English skills, serving as a healing place after stressful study hours through various themed exchanges.

Starting the Year with Pages of Memories

Undoubtedly, the end of last year was a time when UEHers faced numerous challenges, culminating in exam seasons, meetings with friends, and unfinished goals. To ignite the spirit of the new year, the “2025 KICK-START”, organized by BELL CLUB in collaboration with UEH English Zone, created a journey helping students reminisce about their efforts over the past year. In this topic, participants had the opportunity to delve deeper into life’s ups and downs, recognized how these changes impact personal development, and from there, pieced together fragments to create a more complete version of themselves after a long period of striving.

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together” – a familiar quote about the power of unity. Success on one’s chosen path cannot lack wonderful companions. Through this, BELL CLUB also wants to remind students to normalize unfinished goals and not underestimate their own abilities. Instead, stand up and keep moving forward on the long road ahead.

Let’s look back at our efforts over the past year with BELL CLUB

Tet in the City, Tet in the Countryside

Eager for the upcoming new year, “TET IN YOUR HOMETOWN” is a topic focusing on the traditional Tet culture of Vietnamese families. In this 52nd episode, ECOFF, organized by SFL, has successfully created a warm space, helping attendees dispel the worries of the past year, focus on the present, and enjoy happy moments with the beloved friends and family.

Let’s join SFL in letting go of the worries from the past year

Knowledge – The Power of Success

“Knowledge is the shortest path to success.” Surely, you’ve heard this sentence at least once, but do you understand its profound message? With the “Learn and Earn” theme held by UEH English Zone, students freely discussed various aspects of the educational environment, challenges in accessing knowledge, and personal experiences in practicing creative learning methods. Therefore, they could learn from each other, gain experiences, and improve effectiveness in both academic and work environments.

Who is the Spy?

Skyfall – a popular game that has taken the board game community by storm, has now returned to UEH English Zone with a new online format – Kumospace. Despite meeting on this new platform, the game’s intriguing characteristics completely bridged the geographical gap among participants. Whether you’re a professional player or a newbie, don’t worry, as winning or losing will be defined by each person’s personalized strategies!

In this board game, players embodied specific characters, utilizing all their resources and reasoning abilities to gather information and identify suspects to convict. This was not only an opportunity to learn critical thinking from one another but also to enhance English skills about detective themes through engaging debates.

Let’s interact with each other in the virtual English Zone

This past January, UEH English Zone kicked off the program with great success through highly energetic activities, bringing moments of entertainment, warmth, as well as opportunities to practice critical thinking and English skills. To ensure you do not miss out on activities that promote personal growth and community connection through language, let’s follow UEH English Zone fanpage and experience the amazing moments at the English Zone!
