The first Musical Show at UEH took place on September 28 and exceeded all expectations, “Lodestar The Musical!” inspired by the Broadway stage with music, dance, and acting, drew over 800 students to this one-of-a-kind UEH event.
Lodestar The Musical is a theatrical experience celebrating diversity, acceptance, and the beauty of individuality. Organized in collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) and the UEH Youth Union – Student Association, we are determined to introduce the audience to the world of musicals, and there’s no better way to do this than by offering a variety of different spices, catering to both curious newcomers and seasoned Broadway fans.
The musical night is a venue for UEH students to practice their English as part of the English Zone’s recurring events, and it gives UEHer the opportunity to develop an interest in language study through music. Each number has been chosen to reflect the themes that resonate with our modern society through songs and excerpts from classic and modern musicals, creating a dynamic and emotionally rich musical experience that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. All start with a Musical 101 game to kick off the event.
