November wrapped up in a vibrant hue at UEH English Zone (EZ), where English continues to serve as a bridge between learning and living. Throughout the month, UEH students immersed themselves in meaningful activities — from deep discussions and heartfelt conversations to relaxing board game sessions. Together, they created a November full of inspiration, where everyone found joy and confidence in their journey of mastering the language.

Conversations with Emotion and Depth – “Halfway There”, “City of Stars”, and “The Harsh Truth”

The month began with EZ Talks: “Halfway There” — a session that encouraged students to pause amidst their busy academic schedules and reflect on how far they had come. The cozy and intimate atmosphere made every story shared feel genuine and heartfelt. Students opened up about their efforts, growth, and lessons learned during the first half of the semester. “Halfway There” was more than a chance to practice English; it was a moment to recharge, inspire one another, and keep moving forward with optimism.

The emotional tone carried on with EZ Talks: “City of Stars”, where Saigon shone through the eyes of youth. Each story and memory about the city was told in English — vivid, nostalgic, and deeply personal. From familiar streets to beloved coffee shops, the discussion revealed a different way to learn English: through emotion, through real-life experiences, and through human connection.

To close the month, EZ Talks: “The Harsh Truth” brought forth a bold and thought-provoking theme — how social media affects our relationships. In an open yet respectful atmosphere, students shared personal reflections on common truths: the pressure of comparison, the illusion of perfection online, and the yearning to live authentically in a digital world. The discussion not only strengthened participants’ English communication skills but also encouraged critical thinking, empathy, and thoughtful expression.

ECOFF x EZ #71: “Chalk & Talk” – When Coffee and Chalk Tell Stories of Learning

Midway through the month, the EZ space transformed into something special with ECOFF x EZ #71: “Chalk & Talk”. The event took place in a warm and friendly setting, where English conversations flowed naturally over the aroma of coffee and cheerful laughter. “Chalk & Talk” was more than just a language exchange — it was a heartfelt dialogue about motivation, stress management, and the small joys of learning.

What made the session stand out was its gentle yet inspiring approach: every question and topic felt like a fresh cup of coffee — warm, rich, and full of flavor. The collaboration between ECOFF’s academic spirit and EZ’s relaxed atmosphere created an event full of positive energy, making English feel closer and more enjoyable than ever.

EZ Silver Screen: “Two Strangers Who Meet Five Times” – When Cinema Sparks Compassion

Beyond the conversations, EZ Silver Screen in November offered students an emotional cinematic experience through the short film “Two Strangers Who Meet Five Times”. The film told the story of two people who encounter each other at different stages of life — through misunderstanding, conflict, and ultimately, kindness.

After the screening, students engaged in an English discussion about human interactions in modern society. Each opinion shared reflected empathy and deep reflection. The session became more than a film discussion — it was an opportunity to practice language through emotion, to understand others, and to grow through words and stories.

EZ Board Games – Where English Is Practiced Through Play and Connection

Between these discussions were moments of lively fun with EZ Board Games. This November, EZ introduced an exciting lineup of games where English was used naturally through strategy, interaction, and bursts of laughter.

At the Nguyen Tri Phuong campus, EZ Board Games: “The Walking Cat” with the “Zombie Kittens” edition brought an energetic atmosphere as players had to think fast and communicate strategically in English. Meanwhile, EZ Board Games: “My Unstable Pony” — the “Unstable Unicorns” edition — offered lighthearted moments as students built their whimsical “unicorn empires” with wit and creativity.

Over at Nguyen Van Linh campus, EZ Board Games: “Brainrot” featuring the “Virus” game challenged students’ logical thinking and quick decision-making skills. The tension and excitement created a fun, dynamic environment for practicing English under pressure. Finally, EZ Board Games: “Clueless” wrapped up the month with mystery and teamwork as players became detectives in “Clue,” piecing together clues and reasoning — all in English.

In these sessions, English was no longer just a subject — it was a language of connection, strategy, and shared enjoyment. The spontaneous interaction helped students strengthen their reflexes, communication, and quick thinking skills in a natural and engaging way.

November – A Journey of Emotion, Connection, and Experience

November at the UEH English Zone painted a vibrant picture of meaningful conversations, thoughtful discussions, and engaging, language-filled activities. Here, English was not only studied but lived, felt, and shared.

EZ continued to create spaces where students could grow more confident in communication, think independently in their learning, and connect openly with one another. Each month, EZ writes a new chapter in its mission to spread the spirit of “Learn – Connect – Grow” among UEH students.

Let’s look forward to December — a month that promises new stories, creative activities, and stronger connections at the UEH English Zone.
