Let’s Join UEH English Zone To Revisit A December To Remember!

As new year is approaching, it is the time to look back at those exciting activities that took place in the last month of the year at UEH English Zone. In December, we had a truly unique experience at English Zone with both online and in-person activities. Let’s go over the wonderful memories we made together through several main events of the month!

When the semester draws to a close, it is also the period for students to spend time with their families. Therefore, the EZ Talks and Boardgames activities were organized online to make it easier for students to participate. For EZ Talks activities, students went over the topics “Me, Myself, & I” and “Golden Hour”. During these Talks, UEHers had the chance to reflect and rethink about what happened in 2023, as well as talk about how to spend quality time with loved ones and create memorable memories with them.

EZ Boardgames activities continue to be organized on a regular basis to satisfy students’ passion. Although it is not possible to play board games directly in the green space at B2 Park, UEH English Zone has organized board games through interactive game platforms. Those dramatic board games are included in the thrilling topics such as “Mission: Impossible” and “Roll the dice”. If the “Mission Impossible” activity introduced us to the world of secret agents through the game Spyfall, the “Roll the dice” activity let us know how to invest wisely through the Monopoly game. In addition to improving reasoning skills, this is also an opportunity to apply economic knowledge in a fun way, right!?

Furthermore, BELL UEH organized the activity “Speaking Group Extended – 2023 Wrapped” at the UEH English Zone, which gives UEH students the opportunity to sit together and “flex” about the moments they had during the brilliant journey of 2023 and share about their turbulent year 2023 as well.

Not only did UEH English Zone collaborate with BELL UEH to provide UEHers with English exchange opportunities, UEH English Zone also organized the program “ECOFF – English Coffee Talk #33: CHRISTMAS PARTY” with a familiar unit – the School of Foreign Languages (SFL), which was well received by the student community.

Along with the Christmas atmosphere approaching and the cold air filling every street and corner, UEH English Zone and the SFL organized the activity “Christmas Activation Booth Day: Xmasphere – Christmas Here” at Hall B1 – Campus B. In this activity, we shared special moments together in a festive atmosphere, bringing joy and connection to all students who attended.
