After a long summer break, it’s time for our beloved UEH students to start the new semester full of excitement and the English Zone has officially returned with our weekly offline activities. In August, at the UEH English Zone, UEHers had a chance to experience a colorful of Club Activities, EZ Networking and EZ Talks & Boardgames series with practical values.
Step back to move forward
Farewell to the Zep and MS Teams UEH platform, UEHers could now comeback to the UEH English Zone. Now, students no longer have to worry about the sun and the rain because the park has been equipped with beautiful green umbrellas, helping them to experience the activities to the fullest.
With a summer full of outings and travel, surely many of you will still wonder why summer had to end so fast. Understanding this, BELL English Club in collaboration with UEH English Zone held a Speaking Group Extended. session with the theme Wander Over Yonder. The sharing session was beyond successful, giving UEH students the opportunity to share, to learn from all the experienced travelers and at the same time, create meaningful memories together.

In addition, UEH English Zone associated with the Faculty of Foreign Languages have hosted the Coffee Talk #27: Flexadence. This conversation with the new topic has turned each person’s unique abilities into something they are confident of instead of feeling ashamed, which has been a great source of motivation for participants to rise and shine on their journey ahead.
Raise your voice and Immerse in multi-dimensional perspectives
EZ Talks & Boardgames continue to attract a noticeable number of UEH students. With the appearance of games that are “old but gold” such as: UNO, Exploding Kitten, Secret H…. And the highlight of this August, keeping the promise to the students: every month a new Board Game, this month, Happy Salmon officially contributes to the huge game sets of UEH English Zone on the upcoming semester.
Putting on a scale with Board Games, Talk activities are no slouch. Various relatable and fascinating topics have been actively deployed by the hosts such as: Conflicts, Gossip & Rumors, Generation gap and Annoying things. You are free to share your views from a positive perspective, and through that, get a chance to learn life concepts, especially, improve your English ability to its full potential.
