On August 12, 2026, the Student Affairs Department, together with the Youth Union – Student Association of the School of Finance and the School of Business Information Systems, successfully organized the music program “HOMECOMING”. With gentle Acoustic melodies, the program created a warm musical space where singers and audiences could immerse themselves in each performance, connect with one another, and capture memorable moments. Through the journey from “The Wanderer” and “The Longing” to “Homecoming”, everyone had the opportunity to look back on cherished memories, love, and the peaceful feeling of a place called “home”.

When attending the program, each student received a small gift along with a note card to write their wishes for the program and heartfelt messages for their families. Besides enjoying the acoustic melodies, participants also had the opportunity to pause, reflect on their own stories, and express their emotions and messages through each song.

Chapter 1: The Wanderer – The Journey Begins
The beginning of a journey, marked by the first steps into exploring life, where youth carries dreams, passion, and a desire for new experiences. The singers brought these vibrant emotions to life through Heartbeats, Good Life, and I’m Yours.
The audience enjoyed the tea break and shared memorable moments together.
This was the “Tea-break” session, where everyone could chat, relax, and enjoy the cakes, fruits, and soft drinks prepared by the Organizing Committee before continuing the musical journey of “HOMECOMING.”

This was the “Describe and Guess” minigame, where participants were divided into two teams and challenged to work together. Two players from each team took turns using body language to describe the given keywords, while their teammates raced to guess the correct answers. The winning team received a small gift from the program.

Chapter 2: The Longing – When Memories Call Us Back
This is “Chapter 2: The Longing” – When Memories Call Us Home, a quiet moment for the audience to reflect on the memories, people, and familiar things they encountered along their journey. The singers brought heartfelt melodies through Somewhere Only We Know, Home, and Castle on the Hill, evoking the love and cherished memories that always remain in our hearts.

Chapter 3: Homecoming – The Place We Call Home
Closing the journey, “Chapter 3: Homecoming” – The Place We Call Home marks the moment when the wanderer completes the journey and returns to themselves and to the love that has always been waiting. The singers brought warmth to the stage through Fix You, Until I Found You, Safe and Sound, and Landslide, closing the journey with a message of love, peace, and a home that always welcomes us back.
As the journey of “Acoustic Show 2026: HOMECOMING” comes to an end, the Organizing Committee believes that the program was more than just a collection of acoustic melodies. Through tea-break activities, mini games, and interactions with the audience, HOMECOMING created a warm and intimate space where students could enjoy music, connect, have fun, and cherish memorable moments together.
The Organizing Committee would like to express our sincere gratitude to UEHG Club, all members of the Organizing Committee, and everyone who attended and helped create such a warm and memorable afternoon of music.
