In March, UEH English Zone returned with a vibrant and dynamic series of activities, marking a strong comeback after the Tet holiday. With a diverse lineup ranging from talk sessions and film screenings to board games, DIY activities, and club collaborations, English Zone once again became a space where students could connect, express themselves, and grow through language.
Carrying forward the echoes of Tet
The month began with EZ Talks: Tet Leftover, a unique session exploring what lingers after Tet – not only leftover food, but also emotions, memories, and unfinished conversations.

Following that, topics such as “-holic”, “What is your first love?”, and “What do you want from yourself?” invited students to reflect on their habits, emotions, and aspirations. These sessions created meaningful spaces where participants could practice English while engaging in deeper self-exploration and connection.

Cinema as a mirror of emotions
The EZ Silver Screen series continued to offer emotionally rich experiences through carefully selected films. From “Family by Choice”, which explores belonging and relationships, to “Under the Spotlight”, which reflects on pressure, passion, and identity, each screening sparked thoughtful discussions.

Beyond watching, participants actively engaged in sharing perspectives and analyzing themes in English, turning each session into both a reflective and interactive learning experience.
Where strategy meets connection
Throughout the month, EZ Board Games brought energy and excitement to the English Zone. With games like Unstable Unicorns, Cover Your Assets, Clue, and Exploding Kittens, students experienced moments of strategy, suspense, and laughter.

More than just entertainment, these sessions provided a natural environment for practicing English communication, negotiation, and quick thinking skills.

Creativity and meaningful connections
March also featured activities centered around creativity and emotional connection. EZ DIY: Women of Your Life allowed participants to create handmade gifts as a way of expressing appreciation for important women in their lives.

Meanwhile, the collaboration with BELL through Speaking Group Extended: Fairy Tell brought a magical and imaginative space where students reinterpreted familiar fairy tales, fostering both creativity and communication skills in English.

Notably, the ECOFF x EZ – English Coffee Talk series further enriched the English Zone experience with timely and thought-provoking topics. From “Women and Leadership”, which highlighted female empowerment and gender equality, to “Self Media”, exploring the relationship between social media and self-image, these sessions created open spaces for discussion. Participants were encouraged to share diverse perspectives, develop critical thinking, and practice English naturally through meaningful conversations.

A month of energy and growth
Overall, March at UEH English Zone was a month of renewed energy and meaningful engagement. By blending discussion, entertainment, and creativity, English Zone continued to build a vibrant, open, and supportive learning community.
