As the summer draws to a close, it is time to reflect on some of the exciting events that occurred at the UEH English Zone (EZ). EZ has provided amazing value for UEHers by holding English practice sessions with engaging topics throughout the weeks, such as EZ Networking and Club activities.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Begin July with the heat of art.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of July, EZ collaborated with the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) to organize a truly artistic Coffee Talk<\/em><\/strong> with the theme \u201cDear artist!\u201d. This is an ideal topic for students to let their hair down and freely express their artistic and unique spirits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, The Speaking Group Extended<\/em><\/strong> of the BELL English Club is a must-do activity for UEHers. With the collaboration between BELL English Club and EZ, the activities are intended to create a welcoming environment to practice English speaking reflexes and lead students to participate and hone their skills with intriguing topics like Heal and Chill, Innocent Echoes, Memories in Green, etc. To discuss the role models that UEHers want to become in the future, Speaking Group Extended<\/em><\/strong> will be back in July with the topic \u201cThe Ideal You\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to connect and create opportunities for UEHers who are back to home town to participate in useful English practice sessions, EZ has continued to use the ZEP platform to bring memorable events for students. With entertaining topics such as \u201cUWHO\u201d – a discussion about the universe, aliens or \u201cCODENAMES\u201d Board game – an extremely challenging game that could blow your mind, UEHers and EZ has created unforgettable memories together with moments of while practicing English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not to mention the well-known game, Among Us. Understanding UEHers’ interest in this dramatic game, this boardgame provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their game skills through skillful persuasion, as well as incredible English presentation and critical thinking skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students had a great time with EZ Networking. This is also EZ\u2019s biggest motivation in organizing weekly events<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exchange of ideas, stories, and experiences at UEH English Zone has aided in the development of solidarity among UEHers, as well as increased confidence in using English, improved critical thinking and communication skills, and expanded vocabulary and knowledge across multiple fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To give UEHers daily life English conversation practice, EZ has always fostered an international environment with a spirit of welcoming and expanding with international friends – future global citizens.
