On the evening of April 08th<\/sup>, 2022, at Auditorium A116, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held the final round of the 22nd<\/sup> Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism Sciences Olympic Traditional Contest with virtual stage technology marking the finale of a completely new and modern conquering journey that increased the temptation of a UEH-boldly long-time academic contest.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 22nd<\/sup> Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism Sciences Olympic Traditional Contest 2022 was organized to celebrate 92 years of establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (03\/02\/1930 – 03\/02\/2022) and 91 years of establishment of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (26\/03\/1991 – 26\/03\/2022). This contest was a practical activity to continue Instruction 05 Implementation of the General Political Department on \u201cPromoting learning and acting as ideology, morale, and style of Ho Chi Minh President\u201d. Through this, it contributed to the country’s learning spirit in terms of political theories initiating political study and research movements inclusively within the student community via diverse formats. Simultaneously, students are slected as the representative team of UEH to participate in the Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism Sciences Olympic held by the City Union and HCMC Party Committee of Universities and Colleges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview of the 22nd<\/sup> Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism Sciences Olympic Traditional Contest 2022<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participating objectives of the contest are learners of the programs of UEH. Through this contest, learners are able to learn and exchange their knowledge of Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism Sciences and information about outstanding ideologists, philosophers, economists in different periods; domestic and international revolutionists, leaders, and notables; Resolutions of the Communist Party and Ho Chi Minh Union congresses; achievements on the politics-economics-society of Vietnam and the city, domestic and international breaking news in the fields of the history, culture, country, and people of Vietnam. At the same time, the contest mentioned a variety of up-to-date and topical contents about the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, start-ups, digitalization, internationalization, and achievements of Covid-19 prevention in Vietnam and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By attending the contest, students can try and update their knowledge of Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism Sciences<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s contest attracted 5<\/strong>,<\/strong>372 <\/strong>students affiliated with 1<\/strong>,<\/strong>033 <\/strong>teams. After 4 rounds (online multiple-choice test, qualifiers, quarter-finals, semi-finals), the final round was held via directly combative format among 03 teams winning in 03 semi-final: \u201cL\u00fd lu\u1eadn tr\u1ebb\u201d,\u201cTu\u1ed5i tr\u1ebb\u201d,\u201cQuy\u1ebft \u0111\u1ea5u\u201d. The final night was a thrilling and attractive competition including 4 parts: Introduction to Knowledge, Problems and Facts, Perception and Application, Pride and Inheritance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asserting at the final round of the contest, Prof. Su Dinh Thanh – President of UEH shared: \u201cThe contest of this year received a lot of concerns and support from students interested in political theories. To respond to that love, the Board of Organizing tried to construct the rounds excitingly, promoting technology application to bring new experiences to contestants and cheerleaders. I hope this contest will bring you useful values and always be a meaningful playground engaging the attention of the young at UEH\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board of Examiners of the contest<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to maintaining the strengths of the organizing process of last-year contests, this-year contest rapidly caught the tendency of event organization of the new era increasing connection and minimizing limits in terms of geography. All rounds, from the qualifiers to the final round, were broadcasted live on the Cisco Webex platform to help audiences approach better the participants and earn more useful knowledge everywhere. Especially, the final night of the contest was organized on a 3D virtual stage technology combined with recording and broadcasting live on the Cisco Webex platform and the fanpage of the Department of Student Affairs (DSA). With this distinct combination, this model contributed to helping the contest overcome complications of the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing interesting and new experiences to participating teams and audiences watching each part of the contest in the extremely exciting final night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The virtual stage of the contest<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the thrilling final night with the participation of almost 500 cheerleaders on the Cisco Webex platform, each team made great efforts to perform their awareness of theories and understandings of socio-political issues, complete and content-inclusive, and structural-reasonable theories as well as possible. At the end of the contest, \u201cL\u00fd Lu\u1eadn Tr\u1ebb\u201d Team worthily obtained the First Prize, \u201cQuy\u00eat \u0110\u1ea5u\u201d Team obtained the Second Prize, and \u201cQuy\u1ebft \u0110\u1ea5u\u201d Team obtained the Third Prize. <\/strong>Besides, the Board of Organizing awarded Encouragement Prizes to 6 great teams entered the Semi-finals consisting of L\u1eeda h\u1ed3ng, Nhi\u1ec7t huy\u1ebft Tr\u1ebb, Ban mai, Th\u1ea7n t\u1ed1c, M\u1ed9t b\u1ea3y b\u1ea3y, Nguy\u1ec5n V\u0103n Linh, and 8 prizes for 8 individuals with the highest scores in the qualifiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism Sciences Olympic Traditional Contest was successful in the 22nd season. This is an activity organized annually at UEH. The contest ended with complete excitement in each moment advancing the effectiveness of educational tasks in terms of Ho Chi Minh Ideology and Marxism – Leninism in the student community, contributing to upgrading the quality of teaching and learning political theories at UEH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
