Mock interviews are one of UEH’s annual career development initiatives, designed to help students strengthen their employability skills, enhance their interview readiness, and build a solid foundation before entering the job market. Building on the success of previous editions, the READY4CAREER \u2013 Mock Interview 2026 program continued to provide students with an authentic recruitment experience, offering opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals, receive practical feedback from experienced recruiters, and further develop the confidence and competencies needed for their future careers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held over two days, from July 30-31, 2026, at UEH’s Nguyen Tri Phuong Campus, the program brought together more than 40 HR professionals and managers from leading organizations across a wide range of industries, including auditing, finance, retail, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, consumer goods, manufacturing, logistics, and consulting. Participating companies included C.P. Vietnam, ALSUCO, Chailease Vietnam, EY Vietnam, Shopee, DNL HealthCare Group, Rau Ma Mix \u2013 Olong Chau Milk Tea, FPT Long Chau, TOPCV Vietnam, MM Mega Market Vietnam, Dialectica Vietnam, Motives Vietnam, CJ Foods Vietnam, Masan Consumer, TH Food Chain, Forvis Mazars Vietnam, and RSM Vietnam. Through their participation, these organizations provided students with valuable insights into evolving recruitment expectations and the competencies required to succeed in today’s dynamic job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students participate in mock interview sessions with industry professionals<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the program, each student participated in a 20-30 minute mock interview designed to simulate a real recruitment process. Beyond interview techniques, the industry professionals also shared practical advice on crafting compelling application materials, building a strong personal brand, and preparing for the transition into a professional workplace. These real-world insights enabled students to better understand employers’ expectations, empowering them to proactively develop the skills, mindset, and professional qualities needed to thrive in today’s increasingly competitive job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program fostered an engaging and interactive atmosphere through direct conversations between students and HR professionals. Many participants took the opportunity to discuss topics such as building effective application materials, responding confidently to interview questions, choosing a workplace that aligns with their career aspirations, and planning their professional development after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drawing on real recruitment scenarios and students’ questions, the industry professionals shared practical advice and valuable insights into what employers look for in promising candidates. Beyond the mock interviews, the program also created meaningful networking opportunities, enabling students to connect directly with company representatives and laying the foundation for future internships, employment opportunities, and long-term professional relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students had the opportunity to interact directly with HR professionals and experience recruitment processes that closely reflected real-world hiring practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By bringing together recruiters from a diverse range of industries, the program enabled participants to gain insights into different career paths while experiencing various interview styles and employer expectations. More importantly, it provided a practical learning environment where students could strengthen their communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to respond confidently to real interview scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program concluded with memorable moments as representatives from UEH and its partner organizations came together for commemorative photos, marking the successful completion of two meaningful days of learning and professional engagement. Beyond providing students with valuable insights into today’s evolving job market, the active involvement of industry professionals also strengthened the connection between academia and industry, fostering a collaborative learning environment that prepares students for future career success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through realistic mock interview sessions, personalized feedback from industry professionals, and open discussions with experienced recruiters, UEH students gained a deeper understanding of their strengths, refined their interview and job application skills, and developed greater confidence as they prepared to enter the professional workforce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Doan Thi Kim Ngan, a final-year student majoring in Commerce<\/em><\/strong>: “The program gave me the opportunity to experience a real recruitment process and receive personalized feedback and career guidance from industry recruiters. I truly appreciate how professionally the program was organized by DSA. Bringing together many reputable companies, the program offered valuable learning experiences, especially for final-year students who are preparing for internships and entering the job market.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Mock Interview program was very meaningful and helpful, especially for students who are preparing to enter the recruitment process. Through this mock interview, I had the chance to experience a real interview process and received valuable feedback that helped me recognize my strengths as well as the skills I still need to improve.
